I heart teacakes!

At Fabric Nation Towers we have a weakness for anything Tunnocks related, so I was really pleased to have come across this bag on Folksy! Part of a series of screen printed bags by Gillian Kyle.
Our obsession takes us on trips across town in an attempt to win this amazing tea towel!

And our wedding cake looked like this!

One day we will take a road trip here!

Mmm, I've not tried that Nicola, sounds a bit tricky! Bit will give it a go!
Tracy - your comment had me racing across the internet to check the ingredients! Panicking that years and years of being vegetarian were undone by my teacake habit! Relieved to see that they don't have any nasty gelatine just have egg and milk (they are actually reviewed!!! - http://www.ciao.co.uk/Tunnock_s_Tea_Cakes__Review_5785268) - although will need to investigate if the eggs are free range - I doubt it :( and I also know in my heart of hearts that the milk industry is very tied up with the production of meat so try and avoid it, sigh. If I've missed some other dodgy ingredient let me know! But on a positive note, thanks for the lovely feedback on the purses! gx

Oh crikey, I've just been on the Tunnocks website, what a dream!!

I've always loved chocolate marshmallows but I don't think I've ever actually seen a Tunnocks one - or am I just incredibly unobservant?? I buy 'em from Marks and Sparks and you don't get a dark chocolate option there. Must seek out sellerss of Tunnocks!

It is fab Linden - I love the idea of the tea shop with all the Tunnocks art. We get ours from Sainsburys and sometimes if you are lucky, some cafes have the boxes with the little Tunnocks boy selling individual ones. I managed to get a couple of display boxes!

Stop it, really. They're banned from my house until Christmas:(

Seriously I end up buying about three huge boxes of those things.

Wafers and coconut logs aren't cheating though. Ha.

Great to see so much Tunnocks love-they are an institution! I tap the top to craze the chocolate and pick it off and niible it. Then I sucky-bite the mallow off then eat the biscuit....beter than sex!!!

If I listen carefully I can hear Tunnocks teacakes calling to me from the village shop. I'll be off there shortly visiting the PO in the back. Afterwards, I *may* just have to pop down the aisle they live in, to check on their well-being you understand. Being surrounded by inferior biscuits and other teacakes can't be good for them. A pack or two may just have to come home with me for their own good.

Tee hee! Operation Teacake is go! I've heard talk of plain chocolate ones popping up too.
